What is the admission procedure?

The date of your admission will be agreed between you and the doctor treating you. Generally patients are admitted in the afternoons and discharged in the mornings. You will receive a written confirmation and a patient registration form from the cinic. Please complete this in full and send it to the Admissions Office before you come to the clinic. On the day of admission, first report to Reception on the ground floor. The necessary formalities will be dealt with here, for which our staff require the following:

• letter of confirmation
• prepayment, if applicable (if agreed beforehand)

The class of nursing care will be decided beforehand, based on the registration form you completed. It is usually the same as the category of insurance that covers you. If you choose a nursing care class for which your insurer will not meet the costs in full, you will have to pay the surplus amount not covered by your insurance. Please check the conditions of your current insurance policy and take note of our schedule of charges in good time before you come to the clinic.

If you wish to receive a higher class of nursing care than that stipulated by your insurer, or if your insurer does not cover all the costs in the care class you have chosen, you will be asked for a prepayment when you are admitted at the clinic. This payment will be offset against the final bill.
