IMC monitoring

In Intermediate Care (IMC) we attend to the care of patients immediately after their operations. We are responsible for continuous and complete monitoring of vital functions, sensibility and motor function. In addition, we provide appropriate pain relief and emotional support. We place great emphasis on interdisciplinary cooperation. For instance, we work very closely with the team of anaesthetists, nurses and physiotherapists.

Organisation of IMC (Intermediate Care)

Our team is on duty around the clock for our patients, working in a three-shift system.

We have 15 nursing stations equipped with monitors as well as a central monitoring unit.

Patients on IMC (Intermediate Care) may receive visitors between the hours of 5.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Please report at the reception when visiting.
