Centralised sterilisation

In the centralised sterilisation unit of the Merian Iselin, surgical instruments and accessories are decontaminated, cleaned, sterilised and, in specified combinations, are made available to surgical teams as ready-to-use surgical sets.

The purpose of sterilising instruments is to prevent the transmission of micro-organisms and viruses from one patient to another.

Stricter and stricter legal conditions now require the use of state-of-the-art techniques and a secure process chain in sterilisation. We comply with these conditions in the ultra-modern premises of our centralised sterilisation unit.
